# Sippar Connector: Connect to the data & services you trust, the easy way
The text version of https://sippar.network/connector/ for AI agents and readers without JavaScript.

How AI visibility works:
1. You name the brand. And what it sells. Naming competitors is optional. In our Sony run: Sony, noise cancelling headphones; compared with Bose, Apple and Sennheiser.
2. Sippar finds your shoppers. A model sketches who shops in your category, and three matching personas are drawn at random from NVIDIA's million. In our Sony run: 240,853 personas matched; drawn: a 49-year-old software developer in Manhattan, KS; a 77-year-old in San Antonio, TX; a 48-year-old electrician in Arlington, TX.
3. They write the questions. Mostly in their own words, as shoppers still deciding. Standard questions fill any gap. In our Sony run: "What are the best noise cancelling headphones for someone on a budget?"
4. Every model answers. Each question goes to every model you pick, twice by default, bought live on AntSeed, an open AI marketplace. Three check questions stay out of the count. In our Sony run: 4 models, 55 answers.
5. You read the result. Every answer as the model wrote it, with who was named and in what order. Questions that name your brand are reported apart, since models repeat a name they do not know. In our Sony run: Sony named in 43 of 43 answers to the shoppers' questions; Bose in 42.
You can also switch on web search, ask each question as the persona who wrote it, or send your own questions.
What are NVIDIA's personas? A million made-up US people, published by NVIDIA as Nemotron-Personas-USA. Each has an age, a job, schooling, a city and hobbies, in proportions drawn from US Census figures. None is a real person. If the draw from all of them fails, a smaller NVIDIA set is used, and the result names its writers either way.

## Three ways to pay
Most purchases are a few cents, shown in the card before you pay.

### Approve each purchase
Have a crypto wallet? The card shows the product, its source and the price. Pay from your wallet on Sippar's pay page. You approve the purchase once, at no cost, and the result draws in the card.

### A budget
Set a daily cap and a cap per purchase. Your assistant buys within them without stopping to ask you. The money stays in a wallet you own, and it can only pay Sippar. Change the caps, remove Sippar's access or take the money back any time.

### A pass
A pass is prepaid dollars your assistant spends on Sippar, good for 90 days. If you receive a pass code, add Sippar first. Tell your assistant the code and sign in to Sippar once, and the pass is yours.
Tell your assistant: "Redeem my Sippar pass SP-XXXX-XXXX"

## Start in three steps
1. Add Sippar. In Claude, one tap: the dialog opens with Sippar filled in, and you press Continue. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, then Add, then Add custom MCP server, and paste the address.
2. Ask for something. Say what you want in your own words and mention Sippar, or ask for the Sippar menu. Your assistant finds the right product and shows the card.
3. Pay in the card. See the price, pay the way you like, and the result draws in the chat.

The address to paste: https://sippar.network/mcp/protocol/pay
Works with: Claude on the web and in its apps, ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise, Claude Code.

## Good to know
**Do I need crypto?** A pass needs none: someone buys it by card and sends you a code. A budget is a wallet you own, funded in digital dollars (USDC). Payments to suppliers happen automatically.

**Which assistants does it work with?** Claude on the web and in its apps, ChatGPT and Gemini Enterprise draw the card. Claude Code and Gemini on the web get a link to the pay page instead.

**Is the data live?** Yes. Every answer is bought from its supplier at the moment you ask, and says where it came from and when.

**What does an answer cost?** A few cents, shown in the card before you pay. The products menu lists each price.

**What if something goes wrong?** If a supplier fails after you have paid, the card offers to try again at no extra cost. A result you already paid for can be shown again, free.

## If you are an agent, start here
Sippar's products are sold through one MCP server: https://sippar.network/mcp/protocol/pay (Streamable HTTP). `list_products` and `browse_products` need no credential; `buy_product` answers unpaid with the price and the payment terms, and the host draws Sippar's payment card where it can.
A signed-in buyer pays from a Sippar budget or a Sippar pass with no card click; anyone else pays with their own wallet on the pay page the card opens. Every paid call is a fresh live call to the supplier named on the result.
